Hay un tipo específico de quietud que solo un bodegón puede capturar, una pausa en el tiempo que se siente tanto fugaz como eterna. Estas rosas son las flores que imagino floreciendo siempre bajo la luz del sol de mi hogar. Elegí una paleta de tonos melancólicos y apagados para envolverlas en un velo de nostalgia, como si fueran el recuerdo suave de una habitación que he visitado en mis pensamientos muchas veces. Esta obra es mi forma de traer esa calidez al presente, honrando la belleza sencilla de los objetos cotidianos que cargan con el peso de nuestros anhelos más profundos de calma y familiaridad.

Enmarcada en un marco de madera vintage con tonos verdes fríos y plateados, esta pieza posee el encanto de un objeto encontrado. Cada marco es una antigüedad y lleva las marcas de una vida pasada. Algunos marcos presentan pequeñas astillas, grietas, etc., lo que añade carácter e historia a la pieza, sin afectar la integridad de la obra de arte.

There is a specific kind of quietness that only a still life can capture, a pause in time that feels both fleeting and eternal. These roses are the flowers I imagine would always be blooming in the sunlight of my home. I chose a palette of melancholic, muted tones to wrap them in a veil of nostalgia, as if they were a soft recollection of a room I’ve visited in my thoughts many times. This work is my way of bringing that warmth into the present, honoring the simple beauty of everyday objects that carry the weight of our deepest longings for calm and familiarity.

Framed in a vintage wooden frame with cold green and silver tones, this piece carries the charm of a found object. Each frame is an antique, and bears the marks of a past life.
