🇪🇸 De la serie "Diálogos con el impresionismo".
Si hay un símbolo que define el espíritu de Giverny, es el puente japonés. Durante mi visita, captó mi mirada ésta estructura, que creaba una armonía perfecta entre el cielo y el agua. Esta pintura no es un estudio literal de esa arquitectura, sino una exploración de su silueta emergiendo a través de una espesa y nostálgica niebla. Mediante una paleta tonalista y restringida, quise evocar la sensación de estar allí, donde los verdes de los sauces llorones se suavizan con el aire húmedo de Normandía.
Técnica: Óleo original sobre lienzo de algodón, montado sobre bastidor de madera.
Dimensiones: 41 x 27 cm.

If there is a symbol that defines the spirit of Giverny, it is the Japanese bridge. During my visit, this structure caught my eye, creating a perfect harmony between the sky and the water. This painting is not a literal study of that architecture, but an exploration of its silhouette emerging through a thick and nostalgic mist. Using a tonalist and restricted palette, I wanted to evoke the feeling of being there, where the greens of the weeping willows are softened by the humid air of Normandy.
Technique: Original oil on cotton canvas, mounted on a wooden stretcher frame.
